Giving relationships an extra squeeze
Nico has built up a wealth of experience in various facets of marketing, communication and advertising. Since the beginning of 2006 Nico has been strategic planner, communication adviser and project manager at Think BBDO, working for such clients as Elia, NMBS-Holding, OVAM, the Flemish Parliament, the City of Genk and C-Mine, the City of Leuven, the provinces of East Flanders, Antwerp and Limburg, HU Brussels, Lessius Hogeschool and Howest. At Think BBDO Nico focuses on project management, the development of insights, ideas and strategies, strategic positioning and branding, as well as developing, planning and accompanying campaigns.
Within his broad experience Nico has developed a specific expertise in communication for government organisations and in regional branding and marketing. He also specialises in conducting strategic and creative workshops. He regularly gives guest lectures on branding, marketing communication and advertising.
Before changing over to BBDO, Nico worked for three and a half years as a communication adviser and project manager for Groep C & Slangen. Before that he worked as a researcher and editor at Television Factory, a TV production house. Nico began as a researcher in the Market Intelligence Service department at Proximus.
